Garth Brooks was in Washington D.C. Wednesday night for "Grammys on the Hill" where he presented President Obama with his second Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album. After the event supporting intellectual property rights, Garth chatted with CBS' Bob Schieffer... about what he thinks about today's country music, why Merle Haggard would call him a punk, and being upset with the president.
Near the end of the video, a group of congressmen serenaded Garth with "Friends in Low Places". BTW: Garth was honored, too... for their leadership in advancing the rights of those who create music.
OMG..I had to cover my ears!! Gotta love Garth:)
