According to some, a Chicago fifth-grader named Jaylin Fleming may be the most talented 10-year-old basketball player in the country.
Jaylin has already worked out with players from the Knicks and the Bulls and has college and high school coaches buzzing.
An NBA assistant says the 5th grader "represents much of what is wrong with our athletic system. The track record for child prodigies is not an uplifting one."
Another newspaper headline says: "Is he the best 5th grade basketball player in the country? Some say it's a problem if we're even asking that question."
