Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. I am in complete shock, she was my age...32 years young!!

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjak.  Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Brittany Murphy's was found unconscious in the shower by her own mother, how horrible!

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," "Girl, Interuptted" and "Don't Say a Word"

There is no official rulint on her death yet, but from what I'm being told by those close to her is that this isn't that big of a surprise. Apparently Brittany was using drugs around the time of her death and had been dabbling quite a bit.

My thoughts and prayers going out to her family members and loved ones.
