Do you ever have days hwere you are glad you are working? By that I mean things are stressful at home and being at work is a relief? That is my life as of late.

My dear Mother In Law Helen, who was living with us is very sick and not expected to make it through this week. Helen is a friend of mine and through the years has offered support to Bridget and I and when money was scarce early in my career....she helped us out. She helped us with the downpayement on our first house many years ago in Eau Claire na when our furnace wnet, she bought us a new one.

The past few year have been tough for Helen with the dreaded Alzheimers, but she even did that with claass and was never a burdon on Bridget and I. She demanded a whisky sour every night with a smoke and she laughed at my stupid jokes.

It hurts me to see this once gracious woman dying...I pray God lets her wing it home soon.
