That’s right - the soda is perfect for removing scum and residue from your toilet bowl. It has to do with the mix of phosphoric acid and carbonated caramel syrup in the beverage.

Just make sure you flush pretty soon after dousing your toilet in Coke - the sugar in the drink is a breeding ground for bacteria, so it needs to be rinsed off.
