Barbara Nelson is suing a Kansas   City Family Dollar store. An assistant manager spiked two Coke bottles with   laxatives after a fellow employee kept stealing his drinks from the employee   fridge. The thieving employee saw the laxatives and placed the bottles on store   shelves. Nelson bought and drank one and became ill. She says, “I had a   panic attack. It was close to 9/11 and I didn’t know what was in that bottle.   They called me and told me they would give me a $200 gift card. It was like   we were playing ‘The Price is Right’ or something. You have to be   responsible for what your employees have done.''

...and that is why I never buy food or drinks from a dollar store....
