Monday is the day to shop for cars and electronics. On Monday, dealerships   may be more willing to negotiate, especially if sales over the weekend were   lackluster. Tuesday is the day to shop for airfare. In fact, according to years of data,   some of the best deals are found at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Thursday is when you'll find the best deals on clothing. It's when big retailers   start their weekend sales and the selection is the greatest.

Saturday is the time to shop for books. Prices tend to spike on Friday and   then plummet 11 percent on Saturday.
