A new survey reveals that women take an average of 12 hours   to pick an office holiday party dress. Other findings:

- 17% of women spend at least two days choosing the perfect holiday party clothes

- 11% of women start planning their outfit six weeks before the party

- 3% of women will spend over $300 on the perfect holiday party clothes

- 49% of women say choosing outfits, doing their hair, sharing a few drinks   with friends and applying make-up beats mingling with colleagues at the actual   office holiday party

- ladies try on an average of four outfits before picking the right one while   10% will try on more than eight outfits
