The most popular dog names are Max for boys, and Bella for girls.  But when you get down to individual breeds, there are at least a FEW examples of people being creative, instead of relying on clichés or "Twilight".  For boy dogs anyway.

--Chihuahuas.  The most popular name for male Chihuahuas in the U.S. is CHICO.  For females it's Bella.

--Labrador retriever.  For males, the most popular name is BUDDY.  For females, again, it's Bella.

--Pit bulls.  For males, the most popular name is BLUE.  For females, one again, it's Bella.

--Shih Tzus.  For males, the most popular name is GIZMO.  For females . . . thanks "Twilight" . . . it's Bella again.

--Boxers.  For males, the most popular name is ROCKY.  For females, yep, Bella.

--Dachshund.  For males, the most popular name is OSCAR . . . ya know, like Oscar Mayer wiener.  For females, it's Bella.

--Bulldogs.  For males, the most popular name is TANK.  For females . . . one last time, it's Bella.

Well...you know what?! My sweet baby is named Louis after Louis Vuitton, the designer....but let's be honest...he prefers to be called, "King Louis"...;)
