It was announced today that ABC will launch a brand new music  competition, “Duets,” starring Jennifer Nettles, Kelly Clarkson, Lionel  Richie and Robin Thicke.

“Duets” will take Jennifer, Kelly, Lionel and Robin out of the judges  panel and onto the stage. They will each choose two singers to be their  duet partners. Together, they will take the stage with their duet  partner each week and perform in front of a live studio audience.

At the end, only one duet will be at the top of the charts and the  winning amateur will receive a recording contract with Hollywood  Records. Look for "Duets" to premiere this summer!
