According to a market research company called IBISWorld.com, 1%of ALL THE BEER in the WORLD is consumed on St. Patrick's Day.

That's four times more beer than the average day.  And this year could be even MORE because St. Patrick's Day is on a Saturday . . . meaning people don't have to skip work AND don't have to go into work the next day.
