Kix Brooks is going solo. He will release his first single, “New to This Town,” which features Joe Walsh, to radio on March 19.

(Brooks’ former duo Brooks & Dunn partner, Ronnie Dunn, released his debut solo single in early 2011.)

Kix says the song “New to This Town”..... “paints the powerful emotion we’ve all known, of lost love and the uncomfortable situation of running into that person again.”
