There is no point in wasting anyone's time. I would tell your girl friend what your feelings are and go from there. She might be understanding or she might be bitter. In the end, it is up to the guy. I would tell him your feeling also. You aren't getting anywhere keeping it bottled up inside. :) Either way, make sure that you don't lose friends over this.
