Dear Abby,

My girlfriend and I have been together for about 3 years and I'm feeling "smothered". I feel like we are never apart and I can't do anything without her. I'm originally from Milwaukee and moved here for school, but when I graduate in May, I need to decide if I should stay with my girlfriend who is from here or go back home. Any advice?

It's your call. You know how you feel when you're around this girl and when you're not. If the feeling is more negative than positive, maybe you need to go back home to figure out what you really want. The point is, you're young, you haven't even graduated yet, there is a lot of life to figure out! Take your time, and make sure that the amount of hurt for both of you is limited in this situation.
