There is nothing wrong with being cheap on Valentine's Day. As long as the point gets across, she'll be happy. Give her something to remind her of a great date you had. Frame a movie stub, take her back to where your first date was, make a photo album of the 2 of you. Do something to show how much you appreciate her and she'll be happy in the end, even if there are no diamonds involved. :)
