I was supposed to marry my fiance 2 years ago, but 3 weeks before the wedding, I got cold feet and called it off. My work has relocated me over the past 2 years and has now brought me back to Appleton. I texted him just to let him know that I am back in town and he responded saying he wanted to see me. Feelings for him are resurfacing, but I don't know if he feels the same way. Should I tell him I might still love him?

Dear Cold Feet,

Remember, you did leave him 3 weeks before your wedding. This seems like a pretty dramatic scenerio, I don't know if the pain would be gone by now. I would ease into it. Don't freak him out telling him that even though you left him, you might want to be back with him. Spend some more CASUAL time together and work on it from there....the only advice I can offer you is don't overwhelm him with the notion that you might want to try again. I'm not discouraging it because if he is the one, you don't want to let that go.
