I haven't had a good, stable boyfriend in about 2 years. I've dated, but they all turn out to be losers. I'm starting to crush on my best friend who happens to be a guy, but I'm afraid that if it didn't work out, I would lose my best friend. What should I do? I don't want to hear that "the perfect guy" is out there anymore. I want him to be here.

Be patient! The fact that you are waiting for the "perfect man" means you aren't settling! Good for you! Don't try to turn a friendship into a dating relationship because you're sick of waiting. I'm sure you find him when the time is right....rushing is never a good thing. Great results don't come from rushing! Good luck friend, take time and enjoy being on your own, because it won't last forever!
