The problem here is people who do not want marriage, DO NO WANT MARRIAGE and vice versa with people who do want marriage. It is an insanely touchy subject. Here's the deal, this isn't something that you two are going to agree on in one night. You need to show him and tell him that this is really important to you. If it is just a piece of paper, why is he so scared of it? Prove to him that marriage is something that will make you closer than ever. Prove to him that you want to make your life together official and you want the WHOLE world to know! I hope you have success with this because I am one who strongly believes in marriage, and I would like as many people in the world as possible to experience it.
