I've been dating the same guy for about a month now. We never agreed to be exclusive, but we haven't dated anyone else while we've been together. I'm a messy person. It's just who I am, and everytime he comes to my apartment, I feel like he's judging me. Do you think my messy apartment is really an issue when it comes to this relationship?

Your messy apartment shouldn't be a factor in your relationship, but I can't speak for the guy. If you think he's judging, I'd probably bring up the subject. My thoughts are, unfortunately, women have this stereotype of being stay at home wives or mothers who cook and clean for their men. Maybe your messy apartment is crushing his dream? Who knows, this is a discussion for the two of you to figure out, just remember, don't you dare change who you are for a guy. ;)
