I am off to med school in Nebraska and I'm super excited! The only bad part is that my boyfriend of 3 years isn't coming with me. He is going to stay here in Wisconsin. Do you have any advice on how to make the long distance work?

Dear Going Away,

I've never been in a long distance relationship, so I can't understand how difficult it might be. However, I do believe that if you want something to happen, you can make it happen. If you want to stay in a relationship with your boyfriend, you both can make it happen. Just make sure you're both on the same page in the relationship and I'm sure you guys will survive.
