Dear Abby,
I am a 30 year old single woman who hasn't been on a date since I was 25. Some friends at work set me up with this really cool guy and we're going on a dinner/movie date on Saturday night. I'm very excited, but I'm also incredibly nervous because I haven't dated in so long that I think I might have forgotten how to! Any advice from you or anyone reading this?

Dear Nervous Single,
First off, congratulations on getting back out there! Dating is fun and exciting and you never know what might come from dating. A good friend, long term boyfriend, or even the love of your life! I don't think you forgot how to date, I'm pretty sure it just comes natural ;) Just remember the basics. Don't bring up religion, politics, and don't start naming your "future kids" or "planning your wedding" already. Guys scare easy enough, we don't need to help ;) Be yourself and act natural. Don't let him know you're nervous, it'll ruin the whole mood for the date. The good news is you're doing the classic dinner and a movie date. If you don't click during dinner, you have 2 hours of silence to replace any extra uncomfortable conversation. Good luck, and please, if anyone wants to chyme in on this, she wants all sorts of advice! Please comment below if you have something to say. Good luck Nervous Single!
