Is it appropriate to wear jewelry from your ex-boyfriend after you break up? I have a new boyfriend now, and my last boyfriend was over 3 years ago, but I continue to wear a heart-shaped diamond necklace from him, and it bothers my current boyfriend. Am I in the wrong here?

I can see both sides to this story. Your ex was such a long time ago, but then again, he wasn't always your ex, he used to be your love interest, and by keeping that necklace around, it reminds your current boyfriend of the past.  I know that you don't mean anything by wearing that necklace, but for your new boyfriend, it might hurt a little. Put yourself in his position. What if he continuously wore a gift from his ex? Everyone's level of jealousy is different, but I can tell you that I wouldn't be happy! For now, I would put the necklace away, and maybe when more time passes, it will be easier for your new boyfriend to see it, but for now, if you know for a fact that your boyfriend is bothered by the necklace, put it away. Put his feelings first.
