Doggies Bad Breath

by Sean Stevens

Did you ever wake up and think ooooh what's that smell?  Then you open your eyes and there's your dog breathing in your face!  Don't think that your pets bad breath is normal.  It's not!  What do you do?

Start by brushing your pets teeth daily to fight buildup of tarter, then schedule a visit to your vet for a professional dental cleaning and ask about dental chews and treats that fight plaque.  Bad breath in dogs could be caused by a number of things like bacteria below the gums, kidney or liver problems, dental disease or even old age.

Don't delay taking your pet to the vet to have this checked.  It may be more seroius than you think.
