Today I decided to ride my 'new' bike (got on craigslist) to work. I was worried about leaving at the right time but it only took me about 15 minutes to get to work. Not too shabby!
According to My Fitness Pal my 2.5 mile bike ride to work burned 102 calories.
Now when I ride my bike home that's another 102 calories. That's 204 calories a day and I'm having fun doing it. (Well kind of) Much better than 30 minutes on the treadmill.
Now my goal is to ride my bike at least 2x a week in spring/summer. It's a great extra workout without cutting in my day too much.
