Where did Florida Georgia Line decide to pursue their music?

by Paul Heling

Country Duo, Florida Georgia Line, is made up of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. Their name is a combination of Kelley hailing from Florida and Hubbard from Georgia. The pair met while attending Belmont University in Nashville through a mutual friend. They hit it off right away, especially musically. After the instant connection, Kelley and Hubbard moved in together to write music and explore their interests. CMT After Midnite reports that the pair made their life changing decision to take their music seriously at none other than aMcDonald'sdrive-thru.

According to USA Today , the pair had to work various jobs on the side, such as cutting grass and washing cars, just to get by while trying to start their career. Thankfully for us, they gained success with their first single Cruise and have continued to sky rocket the charts.
