Frankie Ballard is making a name for himself in country music. He gained his first No. 1 single with Helluva Life.
Ballards main passion wasnt always music. The Augusta Chronicle reports that while Ballard was in college, he played baseball for Western Michigan University. However, throughout college, his passion for baseball changed. Ballard said that at some point, he found himself wanting to leave practice early and instead, get to a blues jam.
Ballard mentioned that he never thought of music as a real career option. He considered it something fun he did with his dad at Thanksgiving. However, once he was involved, he knew it was a game changer.
