Joseph and Joanne Zagami recently won a $1 million lottery prize from a discarded lottery ticket. The North Attleborough, Massachusetts couple bought the $5 ticket from a vending machine, placed it in a grocery bag and forgot about it. The next day, Joseph dug through the trash after his wife said she hadn't scratched the ticket. They won and opted for the one-time lump sum of $650,000 before taxes. The Zagamis plan to pay bills and take a vacation.
