5 Things To Know For the Storm Season
Have a Plan For Tornado Safety
Think ahead. Have a plan at home. Predetermine the place to go so you can react in seconds. Also predetermine a place to meet after a disaster. Spend time thinking about where you would go at work, in an automobile, in a public place, or outdoors.
Respond Appropriately During a Thunderstorm
If thunder roars, go indoors. If you can hear it, you are close enough to be in danger from lightning and high winds. If a warning is issued, get in a building or a vehicle with the windows closed. Avoid electrical equipment and telephones.
Titan Storm Tracking Radar Will Show You Storm Movement
Identify storm cells in 3-D radar data and track their strengths and paths. You can zoom in to see your neighborhood and check if you are in the path. We proudly feature Titan Storm Tracking radar technology on our weather page.
